Athena is a super friendly 2 year old cat who came into care a few weeks ago. She was found with an injured tail which needed to be amputated.
She is currently staying with beautiful foster carers who adore her. They found her to be a sweet, calm and loving cat looking for attention and someone to play with.
Athena spends quite a bit of time napping but when she is awake she is looking for a someone to play with. Her favourite toy is a string and she goes absolutely crazy with it.
Once she is finished playing she loves getting lots of pats, neck and chin scratches and attention in general. While she is not a lap cat she will roll around, purr and rub her face against your hand to ask for more pats.
Beautiful Athena is comfortable with people very quickly and enjoys hanging out with her foster carers and their visitors alike.
Due to her friendly, easygoing personality we think she would be a great fit for all types of households. We haven’t had a chance to see her interact with young children so would want to make sure they were respectful and interactions are monitored.
