Leopold finds moving to new environments overwhelming. Maybe it’s because he didn’t know why he suddenly had to fend for himself – the big wide world can be a pretty scary place when you’re not used to it. He was found by a good Samaritan living in a leafy suburb but you can tell that he once was a cat who had a home.
As a result of his recent experience Leopold is quite nervous (as you can see from his photo), and when he arrived at SAFE he decided to hide away. We have learned over the time he’s been with us, that he is a morning cat, and, especially when his breakfast appears, he enjoys a stroke or two.
We are going to be extra careful finding Leopold a new guardian. They will need to be patient and experienced with a quiet home where he can take his time to adjust and remember what it’s like to relax. If you think you can help this beautiful boy please call us and we can discuss if it’s a match
