Layla is a very shy cat who we socialised in foster care. Happily she was adopted this week and we have an update from her new guardian Federica.
“Layla is adapting pretty well to the new environment! I followed your advice and let her alone most of the time but she started coming towards me almost immediately. She’s very sweet and I’m letting her set the pace. She eats from my hand, kisses my face and wants me to scratch her under her chin! Tonight when I entered the room she took possession of my hand and wanted to sleep on it! She is still exploring the room and it will take time before she’s ready to explore the rest of the house, but things are going very well! “
