Please check below before bringing anything to SAFE Haven. If you bring items that we can’t use you will have created another job for us to dispose of them.
We are always grateful for donations of cat litter and wet and dry food especially Royal Canin Mother& Babycat.
Our cat suites are temperature controlled and our washing is done by volunteers at home. This means that we do not need/it is not practical for us to have, doonas, pillows, cushions, quilts, large blankets or old, used cat beds. If you have any of these items we suggest you contact organisations which house dogs as they typically need them more eg RSPCA, NSW AWL and other smaller dog rescues which you can search for on social media.
The items we use the most are small/medium towels, but even then our racks are sometimes full and we don’t even need them so it’s always best to call first to check.
If you have any items of cat merchandise which are in good condition we can re-sell them to raise money. These include new beds your cat has refused to use (!) and stable scratching posts
